OTAs do not publish open rate APIs and they actively defend against automated reading. RateShop fetches public pages through a rendering service, which works well a lot of the time and gets blocked some of the time.
So the app never fakes a number. Every cell is labelled: available, sold out, blocked or failed — and a per-channel health panel tells you which OTA is being difficult today.
Any cell can be overridden by hand, so a blocked fetch never leaves a hole in your pricing meeting.
